| Why the **** are all vehicles so terrible on gas compared to semis? It's every type of vehicle. Cars van pick ups. A god damn semi; which is like two vehicles with a huge gap between the tractor and trailer that you would think would be a HUGE wind drag and they still get close to 10 MPG sometimes; that's ******* unbelievable. Here in Europe diesel engines are popular is cars too - my last one gave 50 to 60 miles per gallon. That was a 1.9 litre turbocharged engine producing 105 horsepower.
